Pre-order: Andong Jjimdak
Andong Jjimdak is a variety of jjim (a Korean steamed or boiled dish), which originated in the city of Andong. This is made with chicken, various vegetables marinated in Korean soy sauce based sauce. This is cooked over high heat, it has less fat and can have various tasted by adding desired ingredients according to recipe.
This is also considered a nutritious dish with its high protein content from the chicken, and various vitamins provided by the vegetables in the dish.
Pre-order: Baeksuk (Samgyetang)
Samgyetang is Korean ginseng chicken soup. Its a very healthy food during in summer.
Baeksuk = Samgyetang
The difference is we use bigger chicken than Samgyetang and we also make chicken and vegetable porridge from the chicken soup.
- Use fresh chicken (2 whole chicken)
- Put 5 kind of herbs from Korea (황기, 오가피, 헛개나무, 두충, 당귀) + ginseng, garlic, date, wild sesame powder
- Provide one whole chicken, 2 legs and soup + other part we make into chicken vegetable porridge
Pre-order: Pork Belly Kimchi Jjim
This dish is braised pork belly with sour Kimch. If you like Kimchi Jjigae, you will definitely love this dish. A rich taste is developed when the pork belly and the sour Kimchi are slowly cooked together.
Pan-fried seasoning chicken with vegetables, rice cake, sweet potato, and spicy sauce
After eating Dakgalbi, fried rice is strongly recommended with Kimchi, laver, sesame oil
Bigmama's Suyuk (pork belly) is not boiled in water unlike normal Suyuk. Bigmama's Suyuk is less oily as unnecessary fat is removed during cooking.
It tastes plain and clean as if it is cooked in an oven. Enjoy Bigmama's Suyuk with various sauces!
Makgeolli (Korean Rice Wine)
Makgeolli is a traditional alcoholic beverage and is said to be the oldest liquor in Korea. It is made from rice, thus it is also referred to as Korean rice wine. It is genuine nature food which the nature ferments by the micro-organism.
